The Pipal Tree

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)

Can I bring my pet to the villa?

We love animals, but unfortunately, pets are not allowed at The Pipal Tree Mountain Villa or Methlang Villa. We’re located in a natural area with native wildlife, and to ensure safety, cleanliness, and comfort for all guests — especially those with allergies — we maintain a no-pet policy.

What time is check-in and check-out?

  • ✅ Check-in: After 2:00 pm (until 8 pm)
  • ✅ Check-out: By 11:00 am

Our staff will help you check in, explain things and sign an indemnity form.

What is the cancellation policy?

  • ✔️ Cancel ≥ 14 days before arrival – 🟢 Full refund
  • ✖️ Cancel later – 🔴 No refund

We recommend travel insurance to protect against unexpected changes to your trip.

What type of WiFi, TV, and other amenities are included?

Our villas in Pokhara come with:

  • 📶 High-speed WiFi (200 Mbps) — suitable for streaming and video calls
  • 📺 Smart TV (use your own streaming accounts)
  • 🏡 Fully equipped kitchen with basic spices
  • 🏊 Private infinity pool overlooking the Annapurna ranges (unguarded, children must be supervised)
  • 🔒 Outdoor security cameras - for your safety and property protection

What do I need to bring?

We provide essentials so you can travel lighter: linens, towels, kitchenware, some basic cooking spices, and toiletries. Bring your groceries, your favorite coffee/tea, and personal items you need for your stay. Before checkout, please leave the villa tidy — it helps us keep it special for everyone.

Why is there a cleaning fee if guests do basic tasks?

Our villas are private homes, not hotels. The cleaning fee covers deep cleaning, sanitation, and preparation between guests so you arrive to a spotless and welcoming space. By doing simple tasks like washing dishes and keeping things orderly, you help us keep the fees reasonable while still maintaining high standards.

Is firewood provided?

Our villas are designed with modern amenities and do not include indoor fireplaces, so firewood isn’t applicable. However, you can enjoy the outdoor fireplace at Methlang Villa (subject to local fire safety conditions). Feel free to ask us about availability before your stay.

Is parking included?

✔️ Free onsite parking is available for each villa. Please only park in the designated parking space. Roadside parking or blocking neighboring properties is not permitted.

Is there wildlife around the villas?

Yes — living near nature means you might see geckos, butterflies, small lizards, or hear birdsong (one of the charms of staying in Pokhara!). They are harmless and part of the natural environment. Please keep food sealed and doors closed to avoid attracting insects.

Do you have cameras at your villas?

To ensure guest safety and property security, our Pokhara villas have outdoor cameras covering entrances and common external areas only. There are no cameras inside the villas. Tampering with or disabling cameras will result in loss of security deposit.

Is smoking allowed at the villa?

Our Villa’s are strictly smoke-free indoors to ensure a clean, healthy environment for all guests. The villa is inspected immediately after check-out, and if there are any traces of smoking inside, additional deep-cleaning fees will be automatically deducted from the security deposit. Thank you for respecting this rule and future guests’ comfort.

Can we host a party or play loud music?

❌ No parties, events, or loud music are allowed at The Pipal Tree Mountain Villa or Methlang Villa.
We understand celebrations are special, but this is a peaceful retreat, not a party villa. Quiet hours are from 8:00 pm to 8:00 am, and we strictly enforce a zero-tolerance policy for noise disturbances or parties. Violations will result in immediate eviction without refund and guests will be held responsible for extra cleaning or damage costs.

Who can book and stay at the villa?

The primary guest (lessee) must:

  • ✅ Be 18 years or older
  • ✅ Be present for the entire stay
Only registered guests listed in the reservation are allowed to stay overnight. Visitors (e.g., for a small dinner) must be approved in advance. This keeps our private villa in Pokhara secure and enjoyable for everyone.

What if something breaks during our stay?

Accidents happen — just let us know! Minor damage usually isn’t charged, but guests are responsible for significant damage or misuse. Please respect the space, use furniture and amenities properly, and let us know promptly if anything breaks so we can fix it for you and future guests.
